Option for security deposits to only be collected on shorter stays. < 3 nights.

I find the shortest bookings are the most problematic so having security deposits just for these would be great.

I completely agree with having separate security deposit amounts depending on the length or number of days of the stay. For instance, a one-night stay could require a higher security deposit. Additionally, giving the main guest the option to split the security deposit among the group could encourage shared responsibility, as the entire group would risk losing the deposit.

Need to be for longer stays too but, a smarter way needs to be found for renewal of Security Deposits after 3 days for Visa and 6 days for other Credit Cards. Need to at least cover a 1 week stay (7 nights).
