Rather than rely on email and the booking site message feature it would be very helpful to offer SMS. My customers don’t check email in vacation. So, this would greatly improve communication and make it much easier on me.

Many of my customers miss emails from us because they don't check email while on vacation. It would be great if we could choose email or text through Uplisting.

Random thoughts on this:
I usually want to communicate with a guests through the OTA's channel. It mostly works, you need the paper trail in case you're claiming against Airbnb.
Sometimes I switch to SMS during a stay because the OTA isn't delivering their messages or the guest has silenced the app or something.
But I
always
want to send them a single SMS after their stay to ask them to book direct next time, which I wouldn't do through the OTA. It's a nice improvement on P&L when repeat guests start booking direct.I use textmagic.com with a dedicated mobile# - 2-way communication is really vital. I can also use that # for Whatsapp Business, which is much more reliable than either SMS or the OTA messaging.
So an integration with Textmagic would be great, an integration with WhatsApp business would be amazing. If I can't use my existing phone# somehow it would feel a bit second-rate, but I imagine I'd switch gradually if I could keep
a
dedicated number.For either integration I'd like a per-guest selection to allow me to switch channels for a particular guest while retaining the whole history through Uplisting. That would be excellent in itself, and would be useful right now with email.

Text feature would be great. I use a software on another company for airport transportation. Text is incmuded. It does use a different cellular number number but a free service from the service i use. Many transportation companies use this service. All transportation companies will text with same number but dont think thats important. Its not a number a customer can resoond back to for free version.

it is very important, sms or whatsapp. Uplisting will say, they have zapier, that is too expensive.

Short Term Lettings: zapier works so well for us. We send automated texts. Additionally we create contacts in zapier whenever we get a reservation so we know who is texting back and all the dates for their reservation. $20 a month for zapier is worth it for us

We have so many issues with Booking com guests not receiving checkin info - the messages go to spam. Text feature would be great, asap.
