We can create and charge for manual upsells on Uplisting. However, we should offer upsells to guests so they can select and pay for upsells on the guest booking confirmation page.

Dillon DuBois I've been using the beta for this for a long time and it's great. My only additional suggestion would be some sort of notification (email?) when someone purchases an Upsell item. I am assuming that should be easy to implement.

A very nice tool. Would be helpful to be able to re-arrange the order of the upsells, and also receive a mail notification that a guest realized a payment.

Excited for this Jordon Myers and Vince Breslin. It would be awesome to have "required" upsells here... like a damage waiver that is pre-ticked and can't be un-ticked. Right now there's no effective way to sell damage waivers aside from baking it into the nightly rate... and on Airbnb we use aircover so don't need a damage waiver, and adding it to Airbnb bookings then makes Airbnb rates get too high

Hoping this gets resolved soon. We want to be able to charge X for cleaning fee and Y for a management fee. Right now when broke apart this only goes to airbnb. So we are forced to make our cleaning fee the full X which is high. Would love to see where we can make it automatically required for them to pay.

I am hoping this will be customizable on the property level . We have anything from a 2 bedroom to a 9 bedroom so the same price doesn’t make sense

We have made good progress with automated upsells.
Initially, we have focused on early check-in and late check-out as these are the most popular requests. You can create multiple upsell rules, and those upsells will be available for your guest to purchase on the guest booking confirmation page.
You can set the upsell as "instant book" or "request".
You will see all upsell orders on an order page which you can view, accept, etc.

Vince Breslin: Surely Pet Fees would be the #1 request, right? Maybe instead of hard coding options, it could be completely customizable by the user?

Mark Petrillo: the top requests are early check-in, late check-out and extended stays. The feedback we got was these are high value upsells that are a pain to manage.
These must have an element of hard coding as they're a little more complex based on arrival times and check-in dates.
Completely customizable upsells are on the roadmap too.

Vince Breslin: Makes sense. I figured pet fees (any flat rate per stay item) would be easiest to implement, especially pet fees that are.alrrady built into the system and just need to be added to the registration form. I understand adjusting check in times is a lot more complex. Looking forward to when this is done as we lose a lot of money by people bringing pets and never paying for them, since there is no easy way for them to do so.
