Edit direct booking prices before and after booking is created

Uplisting
There is no way to change direct booking prices. For example, removing a line item (eg. cleaning fee) entirely, or change the accomodation total.

This is greatly needed. What is the progress on this? As I have the option for guests to add additional service/space, I need this option for direct booking to be practical.

Being able to edit nightly rate is very helpful. Currently, only accommodation total can be edited.

The first release of this feature/upgrade is now available. You can edit the accommodation total and any manually entered discount or extra charge amount on direct bookings (that are not split payment bookings).
The ability to edit split payment bookings will be available next week. Split payment bookings are slightly more complicated as the system needs to update the balance in order to collect the correct amount on Stripe.

Vince Breslin: Hi Vince - will the next change include making Split payments easier directly through Uplisting, rather than having to do the math of the difference and charge via Stripe?

This is a real challenge for me and I would like to change prices manually and straightforward.

Vince, yes taxes should probably auto-recalculate. But if you want to get fancy, you could have an option (checkbox?) to override and manually enter each field--including Taxes.

Dale Fox: A tax exempt toggle would be useful as well for reservations that qualify (30 days+, etc.)

We're now scheduling this upgrade.
Question regarding taxes etc. Say you update the accomodation total amount. Is it right to assume any taxes you have in place should automatically recalculate?
The reason I ask is if you are trying to get to a definite guest payment amount of $1000 example, this may be challenging when we have to recalculate the taxes.
