Vince Breslin
complete
Check-in time, check-out time, arrival time and departure time now use 12 hour format on all guest facing messaging.
You don't need to make any changes. The new time formats replace the previous 24 hour times.
These include:
- automated messages
- saved replies
- automated reviews
- enquiry/inquiry auto-responder
- eSign rental agreements

Vince Breslin: would you also change it on the guest booking page?
Mark Petrillo
Vince Breslin: Any chance we can get an option for "August 6th" instead of "6th of August" while you are in there? The latter is much more standard in the USA. Thanks...
Vince Breslin
Matthias Beachy:
_would you change it on the guest booking page?_
This is being done. Probably be live by next week.
Vince Breslin
Mark Petrillo: This is a separate issue so I'll add a new feedback story. In this case it's a little more complex as we'll need to offer members an option of which format they prefer.
Vince Breslin
Mark Petrillo: added a story here: https://roadmap.uplisting.io/feature-requests/p/date-formats-on-message-tags
Vince Breslin
Matthias Beachy: we have updated the time on the booking confirmation page now too.

in progress
We are migrating all guest facing times to be in 12 hour format.
These include the following message tags:
check-in time
check-out time
arrival time
departure time

Any update on this one? It's been a while since an update on this and the 24-hour tags look way too formal for my taste. I assume if I feel that way so do the guests reading them.

Any update on this one?

Any progress on this? Or timeline?

If you can do this could you also please please add year to the check_in and check_out date tags
{check_in_date} of the date would be 16 March 2021

maybe this could be a toggle switch or even
{check_in_time_12hour} This would create - 4:00 PM
{check_in_time_24hour} This would create - 16:00

It may be easiest to just have a setting per listing, or even per account to specify 12 hour vs 24 hour time.

Please change to 12 hour am/pm. In the US when we use military time it sounds like a form letter. No one likes a form letter
M

Karen Lake: agreed. Plus we have numerous guests asking us to explain. Which defeats the purpose of the automation.
