Ability to manually update/edit the management fee that sometimes could change for an individual reservation or is calculated incorrected by Uplisting. For example, I don't charge commission on the total the guest pays but based on the net after reseller website fees. Also, I don't collect commission on the city tax.

Vince Breslin: I noticed that if you run a test booking with discount to equate to zero total (accomm. + cleaning);
the management fee will be negative dollars instead of zero.
This is due to the discount applying just to accommodation and not cleaning fee, so system sees negative balance on accommodation as cleaning fee is excluded from management fees.
Shouldn't management fees be programmed to zero minimum?

As for the management, the way the system is currently set up to calculate the fee as a percentage of the accommodation total BEFORE any booking site commission is deducted. I need it to be AFTER booking site commission?

We started working on custom management fees/business plans.
This feature will be part of a the client management and statement feature we are releasing.
You will be able to create custom rules for one or multiple properties. For example (total payout minus booking site commission minus city tax)*20% + cleaning)

Our management fees are fixed and at the moment we cannot apply them as the only option we have is to set them up as a percentage. For various reasons this doesn鈥檛 work for us as we would be under paid in many circumstances or over paid in a few. Thank you for considering it!
To have it fixed only works with Airbnb, I found we were getting bookings without the management fees added...so I went via the automated path and found I can only add them by percentage. Thanks for your help,

A few questions to help us ensure we cover all models:
How do you calculate your management fees?
If you don't operate with this model, is a % of net revenue sufficient? Or do you need to create your own calculation?
Any examples are appreciated!
I know some of you operate on a flat fee per booking model. Is it sufficient if we allowed the option to set a management fee of $ZZZ per booking?

Vince Breslin: I charge commission after deducting reseller commissions (Booking.com, AirBNB, etc), the cleaning fee and any city taxes. In Europe, the commission is also subject to VAT which is 22% in Italy.

Vince Breslin: morning. Was just wanting to input that I actually still seem to be different to the rest.
I pay my owners a set flat fee per night, which changes over the year.. for example summer 拢75 per night, winter 拢45 per night.
And that is what i am needing yo have a report for my owners.
So if 10 nights in August are sold the owner can see a report for August showing dates booked, total 10 nights @ 拢75
Total earnings 拢750.
Then what ever turnover is left from those 10 nights belong to my company as commission, cleaning etc

Airbnb - after Airbnb takes there charge, then my property manager takes 10% of net (guest pays $100, airbnb takes $15, my property manager gets 10% of $85 and doesn't take any of the cleaning fees %)
