Please automatically add the credit card processing fee when they book online using a card. Please give the guest an option to have no fee with bank transfers and ACH. I am losing money this way and I have to not advertise my listing since of the fees. Airbnb had their own fee, but I want to have direct customers to avoid ARIBNB and VRBO- this has been happening for over a year now without any changes and constant asking.

Uplisting customers need another payment option. We're looking at migrating to a different platform with this as a driving factor. The non-refundable Stripe processing fees on cancelled VRBO bookings are significantly impacting us. We've been hit with $700 in processed credit card fees on cancelled bookings in the past month. One lady booked an entire month, then decided the house wouldn't work for her 10 minutes later. She cancelled and we were hit with a $450 non refundable credit card feed. Alternatively, could the functionality be updated to delay the processing of the charge until after the cancellation period has passed? This seems possible through Stripes API.

I don't understand why Uplisting continues to work with Stripe when so many customers have issues. Authorize.net would be a preferred solution. Uplisting needs to understand their customers are losing money and just creating a new account with Stripe every time they get closed down is not a solution.

Please can you also consider options such as Xendit, Doku, Authorize.net..

Stripe is terrible, having many issues with 3 day deposit auth

We just had the same issue and stripe closed our account and refused to make any payments to us, even whilst we had guests at our property! So without any other options and uplisting doesn't seem to be implementing any other payment processors, I'm going to have to say goodbye to Uplisting. Call me when you implement another payment processor. Bye bye Uplisting

1- Stripe just closed our account after conducting a routine review...

We have not yet received any disputes, and have all 5-star ratings!

2- Next they state "business does not meet our Terms of Service"...

Stripe support even recognizes AirBNB and Booking.com uses them, so there should be no issue, please file appeal.

3- We appealed, giving them every government document they requested and more for verification...

You cannot call Stripe, and they only answer with generic boiler plate replies via e-mail; never thought I would find a company worse than Paypal!

Clearly, Stripe aren't interested in Short-Term Rentals (see restricted business in TOS).

Is Uplisting going to offer other payment processors like OwnerRez??-

We could still have stripe linked just for security deposits and identity verification, and also assign another company for accommodation payments. 🤓👍🙏
