I'd like to apply it to all sites, AirBnb is the only one that has that option currently. We have very strict cleaning protocols now and need to find a way to make sure a unit can't have a check-out and check-in on the same day.

I’d like to raise an important point regarding the Preparation Time feature. At the moment, it seems to apply only to Airbnb, but this setting urgently needs to be available across all connected platforms. In our case at least Booking.com.
Our cleaning team sometimes struggles to keep up without proper buffer days, which can lead to guest dissatisfaction and even financial losses. Having this feature universally applied would greatly help maintain quality standards and operational efficiency.
Limiting this option to Airbnb defeats much of the purpose of using a channel manager — since, if we were operating only on Airbnb, we could easily manage all listings and settings directly there, with even greater flexibility without paying a dime.
It would also be greatly appreciated if you could share an update on the status or timeline of this request (and others). At the moment, it’s unclear whether these improvements are being reviewed or scheduled, which makes planning quite challenging.
To be transparent, if these essential updates — such as a monthly calendar view on desktop and multi-platform preparation time — are not expected within a reasonable timeframe, we may need to start exploring alternative solutions, especially as support response times have recently been quite slow and don't work on weekends.
We truly value Uplisting and the work your team is doing, and we hope to see these improvements soon so we can continue growing with your platform.

Came across this issue when we had someone try and book on a day someone else was leaving. Very surprised this isn't a feature already - at the very least the cleaning events could be used as a way to block out before/after bookings. Please sort this out asap!

Direct Booking Preparation time is critical for us. Need to block out days for cleaning. Right now have to do manually, which if not done in time can create a booking we cant accommodate.

Hello. As a new property manager and user of Uplisting, I just encountered this issue as well with Booking.com. It only blocks out the reservation dates, but no preparation dates either before or after. The easiest solution is to manually mark the dates I want to have blocked out as unavailable in Uplisting, which syncs in real time to Booking.com. Is there no way to create a simple feature option on the Uplisting calendar to create an unavailable block for x number of days before and after any bookings, regardless of what site they were booked on? This would in effect solve this problem.

Hello Team Uplisting, we have just realised that the preparation window applies to AIR BNB only. It is very important for us as property managers that this feature synchs across of all the bookings sites, as some of our properties are just too large to be turned around on the same day, not to mention the strict cleaning protocols we have to adhere by due to Covid.

Considering Uplisting boasts that the way they sync their calendars makes it almost impossible to achieve double bookings, and the lack of this feature essentially allows for bookings to be made on a day that the property is not available (resulting in exactly the same consequences that a double booking produces), i'm very surprised that this isn't getting more internal pressure to complete now we are almost 1 year on from when the request was submitted.
Bear in mind that airbnb does include the preparation nights within the booking when syncing its calendar with other booking platforms. Switching from airbnb to uplisting immediately makes all airbnb bookings vulnerable not only for linked listings on airbnb but for all other booking platforms. 95% of our bookings come from airbnb so we feel we have no choice but to look for another solution now.
