> What I'd like to suggest is that you allow users to edit the default template for each type automated message type without having to hunt through each property. Some properties will have different automated messages yes, but many (most?) will not; a single default message will do.

Final update before releasing this long awaited feature!
We are releasing the new Automated Messaging feature next week (aiming for Tuesday 5th of April 2022).

Another useful feature would be a "Repeat" option which resends a message every X days until trigger, rather than having to set up multiple automated reminder messages. E.g. If a verification step hasn't been completed, they'd get the same message every 2 days until it has been completed.
Also, for individual bookings, it would be great to be able to turn off specific automated messages active to that property from the reservation panel… rather than the current all or nothing option. E.g. Sometimes we don't want to send our automated mid-stay message, but would still want the pre-check out message sent. At the moment we have to toggle off, then remember to toggle back on again.

Specific condition request: I need to automatically send out a message to guests about putting the trash out for collection on Wednesdays. Needs to only send to guests who:
-are there on a Tuesday
-are checking out on any day other than Wednesday (putting out trash is part of check-out instructions so would be redundant)

A major but hidden update to automated guest messages.
We have started rolling accounts over to the new scheduled messaging. This is a huge step towards allowing you create your own messaging triggers which can be used on one or more properties.
The only thing you'll notice at his point is messages are sent every minute, rather than 5-10 mins. This is a nice improvement of course, but is minor compared to what we will release soon.
The next step after we migrate all accounts to the new messaging logic, is to provide the new automated messaging interface where you can create your own triggers (eg. send 12 hours before check-in) and set filters (eg. only send if eSign rental agreement is signed).

Feature requests: related to messaging & conditional logic
(1) Ability send follow-up messages if the guest hasn't completed the rental agreement. Ability to send the door code only after they sign it (assuming check-in is < 24 hours away).
I'd need you to expose {rental_agreement} as a boolean - IF {rental_agreement} = true AND {check_in_date} < 24 hours THEN {send_check-in_instructions}.
(2) I also want to be able to use conditional logic to send different messages based on the time of year - tips for skiing and safe driving in the winter and tips for hiking and water sports in the summer.

Can the automatic guest messaging be changed, so if the guest has not paid the deposit/signed rental agreement/ or submitted ID, that message sent an hour before check-in, isn't sent in the same way as the check-instructions are not?
