Currently, Uplisting allows for integration with automated lock systems (e.g., smart locks), but there is no option to dynamically pull or embed external check-in URLs generated by third-party systems or property management platforms. This limitation prevents seamless automation between our internal check-in process and Uplisting’s messaging templates. Technical requirement: • Ability to store or call a variable (e.g., {{external_checkin_link}}) within message templates. • The field could be populated via API, Zapier, or connected systems, similar to how lock codes are currently managed. • This would allow automatic delivery of personalized check-in pages hosted externally, without requiring manual updates per reservation. Use case: Our check-in system generates unique guest URLs with personalized information (document upload, payment validation, arrival time, etc.). We need these URLs to be automatically inserted into Uplisting’s guest messages (e.g., pre-arrival email or SMS). This would significantly enhance automation and reduce manual work, while keeping guest communication centralized within Uplisting. We would highly appreciate it if this request could be reviewed and prioritized by your product and development team.
