If the calendar has availability one day before or one day after the reservation, allow an automated message that states, "Add a night for $X". The automation would allow the host to choose how many days prior to the reservation the email would be sent. Processing of the extra night could be done by host manually.

It's helpful to provide guests with a booking Id reference as a message tag.

Some of the names of message tags are not clear as to the information provided - what is the difference between {check_in_time} and {arrival_time} for example? This can lead to confusion, wrong information being sent to guests and queries to uplisting support - see ticket https://uplisting.canny.io/feature-requests/p/check-in-time-and-check-out-time-tags-should-insert-up-to-date-times-in-the-mess for example. It would be helpful when creating automated message & saved replies for a description of each message tag, custom message tag and custom property attribute tag to appear in a tool-tip whenever the mouse pointer hovers over the respective tag insert button [Date of posting: 26th Nov 2025]

Guest received a message saying that check-in time was from 4:00. Host received an angry message from guest because guest had paid for an early check-in at 12. Host checks the booking and sees that they had changed the check-in time to 12. Uplisting receives angry message from host because the message sent to the guest had a {check_in_time} tag in, which inserted inaccurate information in message that the guest received. Uplisting support confirmed that: "if you updated the booking with details like checkout time, best to send it manually. As the automated message captures the initial information when the booking was created." I don't quite see the point of having a message tag insert content into a guest message that may be out of date, nor do I see the point of having to send some messages manually, so my request is to have message tags that insert the current value of the booking check-in and check-out time, as at the point in time that the message is sent to the guest.

Airbnb allows you to delete messages (and edit them, but that's a bigger hurdle). It would be very helpful to add the ability to delete my own message from Uplisting rather than have to login to my client/landlord's Airbnb account separately to do that.

On the guest booking/verification page, it's not instantly obvious at a quick glance which steps have been completed for the guests. It would be useful to put a green tick/highlight the steps that are completed and a cross/red highlight against the steps outstanding... similar to how it appears on our side of the reservation info. At the moment it's all just quite grey and could be clearer to the guest what is left to do.

Please add the ability to send automated outbound messages filtered by ‘or’ instead of just ‘and’. For example, I’d like to have a message send to guests reminding them to please complete all the pre-arrival requirements if any of the pre-arrival requirement are incomplete. So send if rental agreement is not signed OR guest ID is not verified OR credit card for security deposit is not on file. Currently I have to create separate message for each one which can get confusing. Furthermore, I’d like to be able to schedule different messages to send depending upon what time of year the guests are staying. So if their reservation is in July, send the message pertaining to Summer events and lake info etc. If December, send the Winter message with info about ski resorts, ice fishing etc.

I am switching over from another channel manager and one thing that I will be missing is the ability to automatically send out an arrival form for the guest to fill out. Once submitted it will show the anticipated arrival and departure times to our cleaners, so it really helps them to plan their route for the day. You can customize it as you see fit, but these are some of the options: How will you arrive: • Plane • Car • Train • Ferry • By foot Anticipated arrival and departure times: • This will give the guest a drop-down menu to select a time. It will not allow the guest to choose to arrive early/late, outside of your designated windows, but as the host you can update it yourself if you approve it, which allows your cleaner to see it too. Request guest’s email address. Allow guest to input notes. Create a custom question for guests to answer. Request guest’s details: • Full name • Date of birth • Nationality • Country of residence • Passport/ID number

In a legal document, the year being omitted is scary.

Enquiries should be able to come through to Uplisting just like they do for Airbnb. It will make responses much easier.
